Summary

Das Operationelle Programm im Rahmen der Gemeinschaftsinitiative KMU für Österreichs Fördergebiete unter Ziel 1, 2 und 5b wurde von 1995-1999 durchgeführt. Die finanzielle Ausstattung betrug 6,595 Millionen Euro, davon 5,424 Millionen Euro aus dem EFRE und 1,171 Millionen Euro aus dem ESF. Die wirtschaftlichen Rahmenbedingungen waren günstig, die Beschäftigung stieg an und die Arbeitslosigkeit sank. Die Umsetzung des Programms wurde durch die Abstimmung mit anderen Strukturfonds, Gemeinschaftsinitiativen und Finanzinstrumenten sowie die Einbeziehung von Interessensvertretungen unterstützt. Die Verwaltungsstrukturen des Programms basierten auf einem komplexen System mit föderalistischem Staatsaufbau, Sozialpartnerschaft und EU-Förderungsinstanz.
