Lancashire County Council's School Covid-19 Risk Assessment & Checklist for St. James’ Catholic Primary School (Ashurst Road, Ashurst, Skelmersdale, Lancashire WN8 6TN) was completed by Angela Blacoe on 5th January 2022, with a proposed review date of 4th April 2022. - Special provisions for very young pupils or those with complex needs.
- No alcohol-based sanitizers in areas with naked flames.
- Coughing/sneezing into elbows when tissues are not available.
- Posters displaying good hand washing and respiratory hygiene techniques.
- Enhanced cleaning schedule, with a focus on frequently touched surfaces.
- Extra non-recycling bins for single-use face coverings and PPE disposal.

4. First Aid and Deliveries: Staff follow hand sanitizing instructions before and after first aid, and when handling deliveries.

The school has implemented these control measures, treating the risk assessment as a 'living document' for regular review and updates.
