Summary

Team time-outs are limited to 3 per game, but cannot be used in extra time.
Each team can use a maximum of 2 time-outs per half.
In the last 5 minutes of the game, only 1 time-out can be used.
Consecutive time-outs cannot be taken without the opposing team gaining possession of the ball.
Time-out cards are distributed to each team, with T1 and T2 cards used in the first half and T3 card used in the second half.
If a team uses 2 time-outs in the first half, only the T3 card is distributed in the second half.
Unused time-out cards are collected by the official after the first half or after the 5-minute mark in the second half.
Teams can use the T2 card to take a time-out in the second half, but if not used before the 5-minute mark, the T3 card will be collected by the official.
