TF-Ethics Nominations.pdf

The Task Force on Ethics (TF-Ethics) is seeking nominations to fill three vacant positions. The terms of reference include increasing awareness of ethical issues, promoting high ethical standards, and developing position papers on ethics policy issues. Recent projects have focused on publication ethics, conflict of interest policies, and relationships between IFCC and corporate members. Possible new projects include guidelines on genetic testing, biobanks, and addressing misconduct in publishing. Nominations should be submitted by IFCC members, including a supporting statement, and sent to the IFCC office by March 19, 2014. The term of office is three years.
