The Hanover Corporate Center 2 (Lot 10 and Steuben Road Subdivision) sketch plan presented by Bruce Anderson (The Pidcock Company) details stormwater management for future development. Proposed detention basin (3.5-4 acres) on Lot 10 will be dry, lined, and designed for 100-year storm runoff with 4-foot depth and 1-3 inches per hour infiltration. Infiltration basin on Lot 10 requires percolation testing after soil probes showed 110 inches of soil. Flow from Lot 10 (5 acres) will go south requiring Lower Nazareth Township approval; remaining acreage flows north requiring East Allen Township approval. Stormwater drains to Monocacy Creek via a 36-inch pipe. The 4.95-acre East Allen Township parcel contiguous with Lot 10 does not require the detention basin and the legal note stating it cannot be developed separately was advised for removal by Township Solicitor.
Engineering report details intersection improvements for Route 512/Brodhead Road including highway widening, additional westbound lane, reconstruction of 120 feet of westbound width due to pavement failure, cutting back Route 512 median, and a new southbound lane extending to Route 22 exit.
Planners unanimously decided to discontinue regular attendance at Board of Supervisors meetings but remain available for beneficial meetings. Clerk Sylvia McLaughlin prepared the minutes.
