Summary

The Secretary-General of the United Nations communicates proposed amendments to annexes 2, 6, and 7 of the Customs Convention on the International Transport of Goods under Cover of TIR Carnets, adopted by the Administrative Committee at its twelfth session on September 13-14, 1989. The amendments, proposed by the United Kingdom, Sweden, and Czechoslovakia, will enter into force on August 1, 1990, unless one-fifth or five of the Contracting Parties object by May 1, 1990.
