高知県土佐町は、人口減少問題に対処するため、「まち・ひと・しごと創生総合戦略」を策定しました。総合戦略の目的は、人口減少対策に取り組むことです。人口減少対策は、地域によって状況や原因が異なるため、全国一律的な手法ではなく、地域特性を活かした対応策を練り、地域が主体性をもって取り組む必要があります。総合戦略の位置付けは、政府が公布・施行した「まち・ひと・しごと創生法」に基づいています。計画期間は、平成27年度から平成31年度の5年間です。基本目標は、産業振興による活力あるまちの創造、地域資源を生かした魅力あるまちの創造、子育て世代の希望をかなえるまちの創造、安心で住み続けることのできるまちの創造の4つです。
