Summary

Die Bundesregierung hat im Rahmen der Gemeinschaftsaufgabe "Verbesserung der regionalen Wirtschaftsstruktur" (GRW) in den Jahren 2016 bis 2021 insgesamt 619.869.000 Euro für touristische Infrastrukturprojekte bewilligt. Die Aufteilung nach Jahren lautet wie folgt: 117.593.000 Euro (2016), 48.394.000 Euro (2017), 112.808.000 Euro (2018), 108.931.000 Euro (2019), 168.132.000 Euro (2020) und 64.011.000 Euro (2021). In Rheinland-Pfalz wurden im gleichen Zeitraum keine GRW-Mittel für touristische Infrastrukturprojekte bewilligt, da der Schwerpunkt auf dem Bereich barrierefreier Tourismus lag, der mit Mitteln aus dem Europäischen Fonds für Regionale Entwicklung (EFRE) gefördert wurde. Wiederaufbaumaßnahmen für die durch die Flutkatastrophe im Ahrtal 2021 zerstörte touristische Infrastruktur werden aus dem Wiederaufbaufonds finanziert.
