Summary

Transform Trust has a Confidential Reporting Policy to encourage employees to report concerns about any aspect of the Trust's work. The policy aims to provide confidence that concerns will be thoroughly investigated and employees will not suffer detriment unless an untrue disclosure is made. The policy applies to all employees and contractors, and protects workers who 'blow the whistle' about wrongdoing under the Public Interest Disclosure Act 1998. Employees can report concerns about conduct, health and safety risks, damage to the environment, and other unethical conduct, and will be protected from reprisals if they make disclosures in good faith. The Trust will keep concerns confidential, but may require employees to come forward as witnesses, and will not tolerate harassment or victimisation. Anonymous disclosures will be considered, but employees are encouraged to put their name to a disclosure. Untrue disclosures made frivolously, maliciously, or for personal gain may result in disciplinary action.
