The URE agreed to a $2,700,000 penalty and other remedies for two violations: failing to implement a program to identify, classify, and protect information associated with Critical Cyber Assets (CCAs) and failing to manage access to protected information related to CCAs. The violations posed a serious risk to the bulk power system's reliability, as sensitive data was exposed on the internet for 70 days, including IP addresses, server host names, and usernames with cryptographic information.
