The Marquette Law School Poll from January 20-23, 2014, surveyed 802 people, with 46.8% male and 53.2% female. 9.5% lived in Milwaukee city limits, and 92.8% were registered to vote. 59.2% followed politics most of the time, and 70.9% were absolutely certain to vote in the November 2014 election. 26.9% thought the economy had gotten better, 27.9% worse, and 43.7% the same over the past year. 34.4% thought the economy would get better, 19.5% worse, and 41.2% the same in the future. 44.1% approved of Obama's job, and 50.8% approved of Scott Walker's job. Favorability ratings were 47.9% for Obama, 48.7% for Scott Walker, 12.2% for Mary Burke, 43.9% for Paul Ryan, and 31.4% for Ron Johnson.
