The purpose of the Regional Innovation and Local Comprehensive Plan Guidance is to provide instructions to Local Workforce Development Boards for developing and submitting plans for FY 2022-2025, aligning with the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act and the Kentucky Workforce Investment Board's strategic initiatives. The Administration's vision includes establishing employer collaborative efforts, integrating career development into government services, and achieving sustainable economic growth. The plan focuses on career pathways, work-based learning, workforce services infrastructure realignment, and data-informed decision making. Local Comprehensive Plans serve as four-year action plans to develop and integrate service delivery strategies, supporting the State's vision and goals, and must include provisions such as directing investments in education and training programs, applying job-driven strategies, and incorporating the plan into the Regional Innovation Plan.
