Summary

WRISC's 2023-2026 strategic plan is guided by its vision of safety, equality, and opportunity for all, and its mission to promote respectful relationships. The plan is built around four priorities:

1. Intersectionality, Inclusion, and Diversity: WRISC will continue to provide culturally safe services, particularly for First Nations women and children, and identify and respond to the impacts of family violence and intersectional discrimination.

2. Building from Story: The organization will make the stories of women and children who have experienced family violence the foundation of its work.

3. Connection, Partnership, and Influence: WRISC will build connections and partnerships to support women and children and influence prevention, early intervention, response, and recovery efforts.

4. Strong Organisation, Strong Future: The organization will create a strong, safe, and transparent culture, lead in collaboration and provision of family violence services, and be an employer of choice for passionate and feminist staff.

Indicators of success include increased collaboration with external agencies, improved client outcomes, employment of First Nations women, and development of policies and processes that embody the voices of women and children.
