Summary

Das Salmonellen-Bekämpfungsprogramm in Deutschland hat für das Jahr 2019 eine rückläufige Tendenz bei Salmonella Enteritidis und Salmonella Typhimurium bei Legehennen gezeigt. Die Auswertung der Daten ergab ein vergleichbares Salmonella-Vorkommen wie im Vorjahr für die betrachteten Tier- und Nutzungsarten. Die Bekämpfungsziele für die relevanten Salmonella-Typen wurden bei allen Geflügelgruppen erreicht. Im Jahr 2019 wurden insgesamt 846 Herden von Zuchthühnern untersucht, bei denen 0,9 % Salmonellen nachgewiesen wurden. Bei 0,4 % der Herden wurden bekämpfungsrelevante Serovare gefunden, darunter S. Enteritidis und S. Typhimurium. Die Salmonella-Rate bei Zuchthühnern lag im Jahr 2019 bei 1,0 %, im Vergleich zu 0,7 % im Jahr 2018.
