Black toner for Xerox devices (115, 155EPS, 180LPS, etc.)
- Hazards: Not classified or labeled according to EU Regulation 2020/878. May form explosive dust-air mixture if dispersed.
- First Aid Measures: Rinse eyes with water for at least 15 minutes. Wash skin with water and soap. Move to fresh air in case of inhalation. Rinse mouth with water or milk if ingested.
- Composition: Main components are magnetite (15-20%), black fum (1-5%), and styrene-butadiene copolymer (75-85%).
- Fire Fighting Measures: Use water spray or fog, but not direct jets. Avoid water jets as they may spread the fire. Wear fire-resistant clothing and use self-contained breathing apparatus if necessary.
- Accidental Release Measures: Avoid inhaling dust. Prevent dust cloud formation. Use an aspirator to remove excess toner, then wash with cold water. Do not let toner enter waterways.
- Handling and Storage: Handle according to industrial hygiene and safety practices. Store in a dry, well-ventilated area at room temperature.
- Exposure Controls/Personal Protection: No special protective equipment needed. Keep away from water sources.
