It is estimated that 27% of trafficked victims are children, with an average age of less than 14 years. This crime generates $32 billion in profits annually, making it the 3rd most profitable and fastest-growing criminal activity worldwide.

The youth can be victims of various types of trafficking, including forced labor, sexual exploitation, and forced marriages. To combat this, the "Youth Against Human Trafficking" network was created, allowing young people to express themselves, share thoughts, and organize activities to raise awareness and promote participation in fighting human trafficking.

To become a member, one can sign up to the Youth Against Human Trafficking Facebook page. The network aims to promote peace, human security, and zero tolerance to human trafficking. The End Human Trafficking Now (EHTN) association, which created the network, works with business companies to eliminate human trafficking by providing training tools, rewarding companies that do good work, and organizing events to share experiences and link businesses with the United Nations and other agencies.
