Management of waiting areas and multi-story parking:
Tasks include:
1. Zero car storage
2. Storage of equipment arriving at the port
3. Storage of export cars
4. Storage of transit cars
5. Collecting waiting fees for visitors, employees, warehouses, and customs according to Decision No. 136 of 2007.
Fees for waiting apply to the following categories:
A- For workers inside the port:
- Daily waiting (up to 8 hours): 5 EGP/day
- Monthly waiting (up to 8 hours/day): 20 EGP/day
- Monthly overnight waiting (more than 8 hours/day): 60 EGP/day
B- For the general public visiting the port:
- Daily waiting (up to 8 hours): 5 EGP/day
- Overnight waiting (more than 8 hours): 20 EGP/day
- Ordinary monthly waiting for the public (up to 8 hours/day): 120 EGP/day
- Monthly overnight waiting for tourists and individuals (more than 8 hours/day): 400 EGP/month
