Regarding the change in insurance premium rates

As the cold weather subsides, we wish you continued good health and happiness.
We also appreciate your understanding and cooperation with our activities.
Our association held a meeting on February 4, 2014, and approved the budget and insurance premium rate changes for 2014.

The general insurance premium rate will increase from 85/1,000 to 95/1,000 (57/1,000 for employers and 38/1,000 for members).
The long-term care insurance premium rate will increase from 10/1,000 to 14/1,000 (7/1,000 for both employers and members).
These changes will apply to premiums from April (collected in May).

The reason for the increase is mainly due to the rising cost of medical care for the elderly, which accounts for about half of our insurance revenue.
We will continue to promote health awareness and disease prevention among our members and their dependents.
We appreciate your understanding regarding the insurance premium rate change.
