The application procedure requires the submission of a support request form through the Japanese embassy or consulate in the country where the institution is located. The support provided by the government includes funding for rent, teacher salaries, and safety measures. The designation can be revoked if the institution no longer meets the criteria or if its operation becomes unstable.
