The 61st Macau Student Union's handover work schedule and the 62nd Member Congress, Supervisor and Board of Directors candidate qualifications have been announced. A handover election working group has been established to organize the election work. The group consists of 9 members, including the current general secretary, chairman, director, secretary general, and supervisor general, as well as 4 committee and secretariat representatives. The working group has the power to recommend candidates for the Member Congress, Board of Directors, and Supervisor. The recommended candidates will be selected through a series of procedures, including self-recommendation, recommendation by the working group, and election by the Member Congress. The 62nd Member Congress, Board of Directors, and Supervisor will be elected through a equal election system, with the number of candidates limited to 35, 153, and an odd number, respectively. The election schedule includes the candidate invitation, self-recommendation, and recommendation period from October 25 to November 13, 2023, the candidate interview period from November 16 to 18, 2023, and the election of the new Member Congress, Board of Directors, and Supervisor on November 25, 2023.
