The COVID-19 pandemic significantly impacted the physical activity and mental state of students at the Academy of Physical Education. A study of 216 students found a significant decrease in physical activity during the pandemic, with a greater decrease observed in students with higher levels of anxiety and depression. The results indicated moderate depression and mild anxiety among the students. It is recommended that students be provided with additional information on body and mind hygiene, sleep, and sedentary behavior, as well as motivation to engage in physical activity, with a priority on students with symptoms of depression and anxiety.
