Background:

Cervical cancer is a leading cause of cancer deaths globally, particularly in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs), with an estimated 604,000 new cases and 341,000 deaths annually. Despite its preventability through vaccination, screening, and treatment, access to these services remains limited in many LMICs due to a lack of infrastructure, information, and resources.

TogetHER's Goal:

TogetHER for Health aims to accelerate the global elimination of cervical cancer through the Cervical Cancer Grants Program, focusing on increasing informed demand and supporting the adoption of improved technologies in:

HPV vaccination
Cervical cancer screening
Preventive treatment for pre-cancerous lesions

Grant Opportunities (2023-2024):

Two grants will be awarded, one per track:

Track 1: Demand-Side Interventions

Focus: Addressing barriers to HPV vaccination, cervical screening, and pre-cancer treatment through interventions targeting individuals and communities.
Examples: Developing culturally relevant communication strategies, promoting community engagement, addressing vaccine hesitancy, and improving access to information.

Track 2: Supply-Side Interventions

Focus: Accelerating the adoption of improved technologies in cervical cancer prevention within health systems.
