Diabetic patients often experience skin troubles such as dryness, keratosis, and fissures. While moisturizing care is essential for foot care, many patients and their families still have dry, cracked feet despite using moisturizers, possibly due to insufficient amounts. To address this, it's recommended to apply moisturizer within 10 minutes after bathing, covering not just the skin but also the nails. The ideal amount is about 2 FTU (finger tip unit, approximately 0.5g) for one foot and 6 FTU for one leg, with the moisturizer applied until a tissue sticks to the skin after application.
