Summary

Der Bericht beschreibt die qualitative Untersuchung des sozialpädagogischen Ansatzes des Peer Counselings im multidisziplinären Gruppentherapie-Programm KEEP ON MOVING für adipöse Kinder und Jugendliche. Das Programm wurde von der Hochschule für Soziale Arbeit (HSA) der Fachhochschule Nordwestschweiz (FHNW) entwickelt und durchgeführt. Die Studie evaluierte den Peer-Counseling-Ansatz und seine Auswirkungen auf die Teilnehmer. Die Ergebnisse zeigen, dass das Peer Counseling positive Auswirkungen auf die soziale Unterstützung, die Stärkung des Selbstwerts und die Förderung gesundheitsbezogenen Verhaltens hatte. Die Studie identifizierte auch Herausforderungen und Bedürfnisse für die Implementierung des Peer Counselings in solchen Programmen.
