Summary

Der Elecsys T CEA-Test ist ein Elektrochemilumineszenz-Immunoassay (ECLIA) zur quantitativen In-vitro-Bestimmung des Carcinoembryonalen Antigens (CEA) in Humanserum oder -plasma. Der Test besteht aus drei Schritten: Inkubation der Patientenprobe mit biotinylierten und ruthenylierten monoklonalen Antikörpern, Bindung der Immunkomplexe an paramagnetische Mikropartikel und Messung der Chemilumineszenz-Reaktion. Der Test ist für die Prognosestellung, Verlaufskontrolle und Nachsorge von Patienten mit kolorektalem Karzinom geeignet. Die Testdauer beträgt 18 Minuten, der Messbereich liegt bei 0,2-1000 ng/ml. Der Test ist auf verschiedenen Analysegeräten wie dem cobas e 411 Analyzer und dem cobas e 601/602 Modul verfügbar.
