 TV stations
General daily newspapers
 Sports newspapers/magazines
Specialized chess media

Eligible Exceptions:

Independent writers, bloggers, YouTubers, and citizen journalists not affiliated with a professional media outlet (unless approved on a case-by-case basis).

FIDE considers new media formats but maintains strict ethical standards.

3. Accreditation Categories:

A: Non-rights holding television broadcasters/crews
 B: Photographers
C: Written press

4. Required Documents:

Assignment/approval letter from editor
Passport copy
 Color headshot photograph (plain background)

Documents must be submitted in PDF or JPG format, under 3MB.

5. Terms & Conditions:

Accreditation is for specific events only and not for other purposes.
 FIDE reserves the right to approve/reject/request further information without explanation.
Accreditation may be revoked at any time if misused, abused, or inconsistent with FIDE's interests.
Passes are non-transferable.
