Summary

In der 5. Kalenderwoche 2018 ist die Aktivität der akuten Atemwegserkrankungen (ARE) in Deutschland deutlich gestiegen. Die Werte des Praxisindex lagen im Bereich deutlich erhöhter ARE-Aktivität. In 219 von 330 Sentinelproben wurden respiratorische Viren identifiziert, hauptsächlich Influenzaviren. Die Influenza-Positivenrate lag bei 52 %. Influenza B-Viren (mit 98 % aus der Yamagata-Linie) sind die am häufigsten identifizierten Influenzaviren, gefolgt von Influenza A(H1N1)pdm09-Viren und Influenza A(H3N2)-Viren. Die Grippewelle hat in der 52. KW 2017 begonnen und die Influenza-Aktivität ist in der 5. KW 2018 weiter angestiegen.
