Summary

Avaliar a cultura de segurança do paciente na perspectiva dos profissionais de saúde das unidades assistenciais de áreas críticas em um hospital universitário. Foram avaliados 207 profissionais de saúde, e a dimensão melhor avaliada foi "Aprendizado Organizacional - melhoria contínua" (64,4%). A dimensão "Respostas não punitivas aos erros" foi a pior avaliada (20,3%). A nota de segurança do paciente conferida pelo profissional em sua área de trabalho no hospital e o tempo de trabalho no hospital foram estatisticamente significativos. Conclusão: O estudo permitiu identificar fragilidades dentro da instituição, sendo a resposta não punitiva aos erros a mais preocupante.
