Summary

is a community-driven initiative led by local volunteers. The project aims to provide free, nutritious, and culturally diverse (African, Caribbean, and Asian) meals to 2000 vulnerable BAME single parent households in Southwark during school holidays. As of now, around 1000 meals have been delivered to children in the Walworth area, with a target of 2000 meals by the end of the year. To achieve this, the project seeks donations and shares flyers with eligible families. It is supported by Guy’s & St Thomas’, Peabody Trust, The Social Change Nest, Open Collective, Shift Design, Box Chicken, Pempeople Bike Club, and Tasty Jerk.
