Summary

Die Umfrage von Long Covid Schweiz aus dem Jahr 2021 befragte rund 400 Long Covid-Betroffene in der Schweiz. Die Ergebnisse zeigen, dass 3 von 4 Befragten zwischen 30 und 60 Jahre alt sind, überwiegend Frauen (4 von 5) und dass 2 von 3 der Erkrankungen aus der 2. Welle stammen. Die Symptome umfassen Fatigue, Belastungsintoleranz, Brain Fog und Schmerzen. Viele Betroffene fühlen sich von den Ärzten nicht ernst genommen und haben Probleme mit der Betreuung. Die Hälfte der Betroffenen ist arbeitsunfähig oder musste das Pensum reduzieren, und 4 von 5 sind im Haushalt und in der Familie eingeschränkt. Die Umfrage zeigt auch, dass 70% der Befragten sich in der 2. Welle infiziert haben und dass 3 von 4 Betroffenen bereits über 3 Monate unter Long Covid-Symptomen litten.
