Das VENTANA ROS1 (SP384) Assay ist ein immunhistochemischer Test zur Erkennung von ROS1-Expression in nicht-kleinzelligen Lungenkarzinomen. Das ROS1-Gen kodiert eine Rezeptortyrosinkinase, die durch Alterationen zu Fusionsproteinen mit konstitutiver Aktivität führen kann. Diese Fusionsproteine sind in verschiedenen onkogenen Signalwegen aktiv und können zu einer erhöhten Zellproliferation und Zellüberleben führen. Der Test ist für die Diagnose von Lungenadenokarzinomen mit ROS1-Mutationen geeignet und kann die Gesamtkosten der ROS1-Testung senken. Der Assay ist CE-IVD zertifiziert und kann auf vollautomatischen BenchMark-IHC/ISH-Objektträgerfärbesystemen verwendet werden.
