Summary

St Brigid's, Christ the King, and St Paul's are parishes of the Archdiocese of Cardiff, celebrating the feast of Pentecost. The Holy Spirit was poured out upon the disciples, and the Church was born. The parishes are responsible for caring for their church buildings and contents. Christ the King Church recently completed a new roof project, and St Brigid's is celebrating its 50th anniversary with a Jubilee Lunch, Thanksgiving Mass, competitions for children, and new sanctuary furniture. Various events are upcoming, including a conference on prayer and healing, an open day at Llantarnam Abbey, a men's fellowship group, a rosary rally, a race night, and a film night. The parishes also have a series of gatherings on the Holy Spirit and will celebrate their annual 3 Churches Mass on July 6, focusing on the Sacrament of Baptism.
