This issue of Mission Sheets provides updates on several Baptist Faith Missions (BFM) efforts in Brazil and Peru.

Brazil:

- Armando Mendes, Rio Branco: The mission team led by ELD & Mrs. Michael Creiglow has begun a new work in this area. They are in the process of organizing a church.
- Cruzeiro do Sul, Acre: ELD & Mrs. Richard Turner share that their trip was shortened due to a bearing issue on their boat. Despite this, they held services and witnessed to many people, including the Mayor.
- Point Pleasant, West Virginia: ELD & Mrs. Harold Draper announce their upcoming move to this location after sixteen years as missionaries in Brazil. They plan to continue their work there.
- Villa Taumaturgo: ELD Antonio Nery accompanied Brother Creiglow upriver to this 200-mile village. They successfully met with the local community and shared the Gospel.

Peru:

- Preachers' Conference: A successful conference was held in December 1957 in Cruzeiro do Sul, Acre, with 52 pastors, preachers, evangelists, and lay workers attending. This is a significant event for the Brazilian Baptist Faith Missions community.
- Calvary Baptist Church (Manaus): The church needs a building as they have outgrown their current space. They are meeting in a business owner's upstairs room.

General News:

- BFM expresses gratitude for donations of books, which arrived safely after a month-long process through Caixa Postal 227 in Manaus.
- The Mauazinho Mission has been organized into a Baptist Church.
- Brother Glenn Robbins, a long-time missionary, passed away peacefully on January 6, 1988. He was 73 years old and had been a strong supporter of BFM for many years.
