Friday, September 24th - Movie Night in Battery Park (8 p.m.):
The New Castle Art’s Council sponsors a family-friendly event featuring the movie "The Goonies." Bring flashlights; waivers may be required.

Saturday, September 25th - Art on the Green (10 a.m. - 4 p.m.):
The New Castle Lions Club hosts this arts & crafts show in Battery Park with over 150 vendors, food trucks, and non-profit booths. Free admission and shuttle buses available.

Saturday, October 2nd - Rivertown Ride & Festival (9 a.m. - 5 p.m.):
Join the annual ride along historic riverfronts in New Castle, Delaware City, and Wilmington. Post-ride event in Delaware City's Battery Park includes live music, games, food, and beer. Free family festival from 1-5 p.m. with vendors, kids' activities, and fireworks at dusk. Visit www.rivertownsfestival.com for more details.

- Fourth Friday Downtown Art Loop (5:00 - 8:00 p.m.): Explore galleries, shops, and restaurants on the fourth Friday of each month.
- Bellanca Open House (11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., September 25th): Free admission to Bellanca Airfield and Delaware Aviation Hall of Fame.
- William Penn Day (October 27th, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.): Celebrate the 336th anniversary of William Penn's landing in New Castle with historical plays, music, children's activities, and evening Baroque concert at the New Castle Court House Museum. Free event.

City Reminders:
- Property Tax Payment Deadline: Thursday, September 30th (4:30 p.m.). Late fees apply after this date.
- Leaf Collection & Yard Waste: Start in October. Rake leaves to the curb; yard waste and grass clippings collected on Wednesdays.

Code Enforcement Corner:
