Secondly, we are certain that the Middle East as a whole, and the Mediterranean region in particular, has significant geopolitical and geostrategic weight that cannot be ignored, even in domestic projects.

In fact, the routes for supplying Europe with gas are controlled, and any new discovery or extraction must take into account the complex web of international interests and alliances. The Lebanese government has signed several agreements with international companies to explore and extract oil and gas from its territorial waters, but the process has been slow due to various obstacles, including disputes with neighboring countries and the lack of necessary infrastructure.

Despite these challenges, the discovery of oil and gas in Lebanon could be a game-changer for the country's economy, providing a much-needed source of revenue and potentially reducing its reliance on imports.
