Despite nearly 200 years of Protestant missionary work, less than 1% of the nation follows Jesus Christ. The authors, Lynn and Jack Kinnison, served as career missionaries in Southeast Asia from 1972 to 2009, working in Laos and Thailand, focusing on church planting and other ministries, including the "Thai Country Trim" ministry, which teaches Thai ladies to make handicraft items and shares the gospel with them.
