Summary

The European Research Council project at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem is offering up to 2 Post-Doctoral scholarships for the 2014-2015 academic year, eligible to scholars who received their Ph.D. between October 1st, 2008, and August 1st, 2014. Successful candidates will spend one academic year in Jerusalem, participating in a project to create a prosopographical database for people active under Mongol rule, and will receive a monthly stipend of approximately 10,000 NIS. Required criteria include proven academic excellence, sound knowledge of at least one classical language (Arabic, Persian, and/or Chinese), and sound knowledge of the history of the Mongol Empire. Interested individuals must submit various documents, including a curriculum vitae, transcript of grades, and research program description, by February 3rd, 2014.
