The speaker's personal experience of the Holy Spirit was tied to a community of believers, where they experienced hospitality, vibrant community, and transformation through Scripture, prayer, and fellowship. The outpouring of the Spirit was made known in and through the vital life of the community, and it led to a life saturated in prayer, Scripture, and fellowship. The early church in Acts 2:42-47 is a great picture of Pentecost, where believers devoted themselves to teaching, fellowship, breaking bread, and prayers, and the Spirit bore witness to the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
