The Schoriades Association "The Birth of the Virgin" announces the celebration of its 250th anniversary since its founding in Constantinople in 1769. The association has a long history, contributing to the reconstruction of the village, supporting the Orthodox Christian faith and Greek education.

To commemorate this milestone, various events will take place in the village of Schoriades, Athens, Ioannina, Thessaloniki, Tirana, and other locations. The program includes a photography exhibition, three studies with corresponding lectures, and a documentary with historical footage.

A lottery will also be held, with a grand prize of a car or 10,000 euros. Tickets will be sold online, and the draw will take place when all tickets are sold. Additionally, a monthly draw will be held in parallel with the national lottery, offering a chance to win a cash prize.

The association invites all members to participate in the celebrations and support the efforts to preserve the village for future generations. The president of the association, Alkiviadis Dales, emphasizes the importance of this anniversary and encourages everyone to join in the festivities.
