A general directive issued by the ruling party's secretary, Recep Peker, criticized opposition newspapers for publishing content that aimed to undermine the government's authority and create chaos. The directive argued that these publications were not constructive criticism but rather aimed to destroy the government's reputation and create unrest among the population.
