Strathcona/Seattle SASC Can-Am Jamboree: Friendship Through Basketball - February 15th & 16th, Britannia Secondary School.pdf

All games take place at Britannia Secondary School (1001 Cotton Drive, Vancouver).

Game Format:

Two 20-minute halves with running time.
Last two minutes of each half stop-time if the score difference is within 10 points.
2 time-outs per game; clock stops during time-outs.
Overtime: 3 minutes per period, 1 time-out.

Player and Team Rules:

Player Fouls: 5 personal fouls maximum.
Team Fouls: Double bonus at 10 fouls in a half.
Defense: No zone defense for elementary teams (ages 13 and under).
Spectators: Restricted to the bleachers.
Saturday Games: Coaches can mix and split teams for friendly competition.

Additional Information:

Parking available in the lot off Cotton Drive; enter through the ramp by the tennis courts.
Gym A & B will be used.
This event is friendship through basketball, emphasizing fun, making new friends, and no trophies.
