Summary

PAN, a 501(c)(4) non-profit organization, promotes coin collecting through education and will be at the ANA show. The PAN Fall Coin Show is scheduled for Oct 22-24, with members getting ½ hour early entrance. PAN is also launching the John Burns Memorial Reference Library at the ANA show, a traveling library with numismatic reference books. A dedication ceremony will take place on August 13th. Additionally, the Falk Library at the University of Pittsburgh has a small numismatic collection of medical and scientific medals, and the Smithsonian has a new exhibit, "The Value of Money", showcasing the history of money.
