Richard Morris, a husbandman from Caldecott, wrote his will in 1598, which was proved in 1600. He left his soul to God and his body to be buried in the church of Caldecott, giving 3 shillings and 4 pence to the church. He bequeathed money and goods to his daughters, Bridgett, Agnis, and Joane, including pots, pans, brass, and pewter items, as well as 4 score pounds each.

His wife, Agnis, and son, Richard, were to occupy and use his houses, lands, and tenements jointly until Richard turned 21. Then, Richard would receive 5 draught beasts, carts, plows, and other farm equipment, while Agnis would receive a house to hold for her natural life.

The rest of the goods were to be divided equally between Agnis and Richard. Richard was also to provide wood for his mother's use after they parted. The will specified that none of the daughters could marry without the consent of their mother, William Nebonne, and William Brightman.

William Nebonne and William Brightman were appointed as supervisors to ensure the will was performed, and Agnis and Richard were made executors. The will was witnessed by several people, including a minister and a parson, and was probated in London on February 9, 1599.
