The software can be used by individuals, companies, or legal entities, and this document applies to both the user and Veritas Technologies LLC. The terms and conditions in this document supersede any conflicting terms in the license agreement.

The software is licensed based on the number of front-end terabytes (TB) of data to be protected or archived. The user can use the software to back up data on a single active server, and can also use it on a cluster of servers, provided that each active server in the cluster has a separate license.

There are different editions of the software, including Capacity Edition, Capacity Edition Lite, Bronze Partner Level, Silver Partner Level, and Gold Partner Level, each with its own set of features and limitations. The user can use the software to protect an unlimited number of servers, and can also use it to deploy an unlimited number of media servers.

The software includes various agents and options, such as the Agent for Applications and Databases, Agent for Windows, Agent for Linux, and Deduplication Option, which can be used to protect specific applications and data.

The user must purchase additional licenses to protect physical computers outside of the V-Ray Edition. The software can be used to protect virtual machines and virtual hosts, but does not include protection for other applications running on the virtual host.

The license agreement can be terminated if the user exceeds the authorized usage level for 30 days. The user is responsible for any data loss or damage resulting from the use of non-Veritas or third-party cloud storage environments or services.

The software is licensed based on various metrics, including the number of servers, front-end TB, and processors. The user must comply with the terms and conditions of the license agreement, and any failure to do so may result in termination of the license.
