2. Status & Legal Update
3. Real Estate Development Advisory Services: Respondent Review & Recommendation

Meeting Summary:

The Committee reviewed the minutes from the previous meeting and approved them unanimously. Staff provided updates on the Liberty Park project, including:

- ESD Grant Disbursement Agreement: Recently received and under review by staff, counsel, and UHY. A public hearing was positive with no issues identified.
- 6 E-Comm Square: Sarah Reginelli disclosed her role as a board member of the Albany Convention Center Authority (ACCA) and discussed potential reimbursement for emergency demolition costs.

Acquisition:

- Purchase and Sale Agreement: Counsel reviewed the agreement between Liberty Square Development, LLC and the Chambers Trust for the acquisition of twelve parcels. The Committee discussed terms, contingencies, environmental due diligence, and appraisal.
- Condemnation Legal Opinion: Third-party legal review is underway.

Disposition:

- Property Management: The Committee discussed the need for professional property management services if acquisition proceeds. An RFP will be generated.
- Professional Services: Potential future redevelopment of the site may require additional professional services.

No executive session was required. The meeting adjourned at 9:43 a.m.
