Summary

The Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia County establishes the Commerce Court Temporary Financial Monitor Program to assist local businesses affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Eligible entities, including for-profit and non-profit businesses, can participate if they ceased operations due to the pandemic and are unable to pay debts. The program involves filing a petition, assigning a temporary financial monitor, and creating an operating plan to resume operations and pay off debts. The monitor will provide periodic reports and revised plans as directed by the court, with a discharge within one year unless otherwise ordered.
