This Public Key Infrastructure disclosure statement - PDS, is structured according to ETSI EN 319 411-1 Annex A. This document is a supplement to and not a replacement for the BankID Trust Service Provider Statement. The purpose of this document is to summarise the key points of the Trust Service Provider Statement for the benefit of Subscribers and Relying Parties.

The Agreement has been entered into between Merchant and Vipps AS, with Issuer having such rights as explicitly stated in the Standard Terms and Conditions for BankID (Distribution Agreements), Sections 4, 7, 11, 12, 15, 16, 18 and 21. The Agreement is not binding upon Vipps and/or Issuer until Merchant has been approved by Issuer and a BankID Certificate has been issued.

The Certificate type, validation procedures and usage are as follows: BankID Certificate means one or more electronic certificates that the Certificate Holders can use to secure electronic message exchange with other Certificate Holders. The permitted use of BankID Certificates is in connection with electronic identification of and/or concluding agreements with other Certificate Holders, as further specified in the User Documentation. Merchant shall not use a BankID Certificate as grounds for the issuance of a physical or new electronic legitimation.
