Summary

Die Gebührenordnung für Tierärzte (GOT) regelt die Entgelte für tierärztliche Leistungen. Die aktuelle Ausgabe von 2017 enthält eine pauschale Erhöhung der Gebührensätze um 12 % im Vergleich zur vorherigen Ausgabe von 2008. Die Entgelte für Beratungstätigkeiten wurden um 30 % erhöht. Die GOT enthält ein Gebührenverzeichnis, das in drei Teile untergliedert ist: Grundleistungen, besondere Leistungen und Leistungen nach Organsystemen. Die Gebührensätze entsprechen dem einfachen Satz, und eine Vereinbarung oder Forderung geringerer Gebühren ist nur unter bestimmten Voraussetzungen zulässig. Die Umsatzsteuer ist in den Gebührensätzen nicht enthalten. Der Tierarzt darf Gebühren für Leistungen, Entschädigungen, Entgelte für Arzneimittel und Verbrauchsmaterialien sowie Barauslagen liquidieren. Die GOT wurde von der Bundesregierung mit Zustimmung des Bundesrates verordnet und berücksichtigt die berechtigten Interessen der Tierärzte und der zur Zahlung der Entgelte Verpflichteten.
