individual or authorized representative of an organization
HALL: main hall, meeting room, kitchen, toilets, car park, and gardens
PROPERTY: locks, keys, carpets, tables, chairs, crockery, cutlery, glassware, and kitchen equipment
MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE: Trustees and/or Members of Tetsworth's Memorial Hall Committee
BOOKING: act of reserving the HALL in advance for an event or celebration

Key Conditions

Age limitation: HIRER must be over 21
Hire rates: published on the Hall website for local residents, available from the Booking Clerk for non-residents
Provisional and confirmed bookings: booking form, deposit, and full payment required
Deposit: £750 for wedding receptions, £100 for other events
Access: HIRER has access to the HALL and grounds during the hire period only
End of hire: HIRER responsible for leaving the HALL in a clean and tidy condition

Cancellation and Refusal

Cancellation by HIRER: fees apply depending on notice period
Cancellation by MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE: right to cancel with or without notice
Refusal of booking: MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE reserves the right to refuse a booking

Responsibilities and Supervision

HIRER responsible for supervision of the premises and behavior of users
HIRER must report accidents and damage to the MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE
HIRER must ensure the HALL is properly locked and secured

Use of Premises and Parking

HIRER must use the premises for the agreed purpose only
No sub-hiring or unlawful use of the premises
* Parking available on a "first come, first served" basis, with consideration for residents and street parking regulations.
