Se realizó una investigación independiente en la fábrica F&D S.A. de C.V. en San Salvador, El Salvador, para analizar y evaluar varios puntos relacionados con las condiciones laborales, incluyendo el registro de horas de trabajo, remuneración de horas extras, entrega de comprobantes de pago, marcación del tiempo de trabajo y pago de horas ordinarias y extraordinarias. La investigación se dividió en dos fases: una fase de indagación externa y una fase de visita a la fábrica. Se encontró que la fábrica cuenta con una fuerza laboral de 644 personas, con un 78% de mujeres y un 22% de hombres, y que existen dos organizaciones sindicales legalmente constituidas dentro de la fábrica. La investigación buscó determinar si las horas de trabajo realizadas por el personal están reflejadas en las planillas de pago, si la remuneración de las horas extras refleja el pago según los requerimientos legales, y si los comprobantes de pago reflejan el número regular de horas de trabajo realizadas y el pago recibido por cada categoría de trabajo.
